"The Washington Square Health Foundation Board of Directors believes that providing an opportunity for interns to experience the operations of a foundation is part of Washington Square's philanthropic commitment to the education of the field's future leaders. We are pleased to be part of the process."

"I thought the internship was terrific in its ability to provide hands on experience."
-  Sylvia Sykes (Class of 2002) and Program Officer at The Chicago Community  Trust

One of the best ways for the nonprofit and philanthropic communities can become more involved with the Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy Sector Program is the Internship in Philanthropy courses of the NMPS' Certificate in Advanced Philanthropy.  This collaboration enhances the efforts of both the NMPS and participating nonprofit and philanthropic partners.

Our nonprofit and philanthropic partners enjoy:

  • access to our driven students‌

  • Attending relevant forums and meetings in the broader philanthropic community
  • Learning from seasons professionals and engaging in the grant decision-making process and day-to-day operations.
