Paul Mueller, S.J. is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University. He is also the academic dean for St. Joseph College Seminary and for the Jesuit First Studies Program, both of which are located at Loyola University. He is active in pastoral and sacramental ministry on the Loyola campus and around Chicago.
Fr. Mueller earned his Ph.D. from the Committee on Conceptual Historical Studies of Science at the University of Chicago in 2006. Prior to that he received a B.A. in Physics from Boston University, an M.A. in Philosophy from Loyola University, an M.Div. and S.T.M from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkely, and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Chicago. His teaching and research interests include early modern philosophy and science, the history and philosophy of physics, the philosophy of science, and contemporary science studies.
