James Murphy, S.J., is Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at Loyola University Chicago. He received his Ph.D. from the Universityi of Maryland in 2001, and taught at Milltown Institute, Dublin before coming to Loyola in 2009. His current interests include the philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and epistemology.
Professor Murphy has published a number articles on epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics.
