Dear Loyola University Chicago Community,
As the semester draws to a close, I want to take this opportunity to extend my deep gratitude to all the members of our University community who have labored so generously and diligently to serve the myriad needs of our students during this past year. Your efforts contribute mightily to our mission of preparing people to lead extraordinary lives.
I wish you and your families abundant blessings during this holiday season. I also look forward to seeing and celebrating with all of you at our annual Christmas luncheon this Friday.
In this great season of hope, let us continue to pray for the gift of peace for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our world.
May you continue to find God in all things this Christmas season and in 2008.
Sincerely,

Michael J. Garanzini, S.J.
