Research Interests:
My basic research interests are focused on human vision and visual perception. My work in this area has concerned visual persistence, dynamic brightness perception, visual masking, spatial and temporal factors in color vision, visual temporal discrimination, and spatial vision.

My applied research interests concern visual and auditory processing deficits in persons with reading disability. I am also interested in the graphical representation of data and the comprehension and interpretation of graphs. Most recently, I have undertaken a project evaluating the relative efficacy of multiple-choice versus essay testing in the General Psychology course.
