Conference Accomodations

The conference will be held on the Water Tower Campus of Loyola University Chicago’s School of Business Administration.  The campus is just west of the original Water Tower, one of the few structures to survive the great Chicago Fire of 1871, just two blocks from Chicago’s Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue), and is surrounded by culture, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, theaters, beaches, farmers' markets  – all easily accessible by walking and by public transportation. Within a very short distance of campus, attendees can explore all that Chicago has to offer as a world-class city.

Both Midway and O’Hare airports are accessible by public transportation from the Water Tower Campus. The final subway stop from either airport is on the same block as the campus.  Getting to and from Loyola’s Water Tower Campus is  simple and inexpensive.

Continuing the practices of past conferences, arrangements including lodging will emphasize affordability for a diverse range of participants.  Accommodations have been arranged on campus and can be arranged for at local hotels.

Accommodations have been arranged on campus in the 26-story Baumhart Residence Hall, which opened in the fall of 2006, and is directly across the street from the campus buildings in which the conference will be held.  Baumhart Hall offers apartment style residence, featuring private baths, private living areas, and kitchenettes (complete with modern appliances), wifi and more.  Accommodations have been arranged for either single occupancy or double occupancy, subject to availability at time of registration.

Loyola is contracted with several hotels in the area that can offer reduced rates of around $150/person/night.  These hotels are all within walking distance of campus. Contact information for how to set these reservations up will be made available soon. Reservations must be made through Loyola for the reduced rates.
