Beliefs & Approaches to Conflict

Join Sarah Albritton, president of Leadership Innovations, and discover the important role of healthy conflict in high-functioning work teams and families. We'll look at the roles people commonly play when confronted by conflict. Small group conversations will give you the opportunity to share with your peer group, along with other PAG members, where conflict appears in your life, family, and business: what triggers it; how it's currently managed; how to improve your conflict management skills.

Key topics of this session will include:

Stepping Off the Drama Triangle

Shift your thinking with practical tools that will help you avoid Drama Triangle conflicts. What "thorny issue" (family, business or both) is currently taking your attention? Individual PAG members can share these stories with fellow PAG members for help in processing with facilitated group feedback.

Key topics of this session will include:

Affirmative Inquiry

When have you experienced a successful conflict? What did you do? How did it feel? Using Sarah's conflict management tools, PAG members will listen to conflict success stories. Group facilitated feedback and observations will help key ingredients of healthy conflict.

Key topics of this session will include:

The New Landscape

Reflect on what you've experience today. Creat an accountability commitment plan with your fellow PAG members, and afterwards, share what you've learned with the larger group. Where do you stand on the Drama Triangle? How do you step off? What have you learned from fellow PAG members and what conflict management tools will you apply to your life, family, and business?
