Master of Business Administration in Risk Management

Application Instructions: Degree-Seeking Applicants
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable; faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts; we have them on record.
Letters of recommendation are encouraged but not required.
Should you wish to submit letters, include your recommender’s email address as part of your online application form and we will send them a personalized link by which to upload the letter.
Please discuss how the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and our focus on responsible leadership will prepare you for your future career and why you have chosen this program. Your statement should be 2 - 3 pages in length, double-spaced.
A $50 application fee is required for applications submitted by mail. If you complete the online application form, the application fee is waived.
Application Instructions: International Applicants
An official TOEFL or IELTS score report is required for international applicants whose native language is not English. Copies and faxes are not accepted as official documents; we must receive test scores directly from the testing service. The minimum acceptable total score on the Internet-Based Test (IBT) of the TOEFL exam is 90. The minimum acceptable total score on the IELTS exam is 6.5.
This requirement is waived for those who have completed a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree program or those who are citizens of or have completed a bachelor's degree at a recognized institution at which the language of instruction is English in these countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
Applicants who completed post-secondary education abroad are required to submit non-U.S. transcripts to Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) or Educational Perspectives for evaluation of credentials. You must request a course-by-course transcript evaluation, and it must show that your non-U.S. education is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree to be considered for admission.

Applicants must submit official transcripts from their current MBA program.
A letter of good standing from your current director or academic advisor is required. This letter should indicate your standing in the program, your GMAT or GRE score, and articulate the courses you must take at Loyola University Chicago. Additional information may be required.
