The Committee acts as a resource and provides guidance to the Liaisons / Ambassadors of updates, educational events, and other various ways to strengthen Loyola's waste prevention program.
Education Campaign
The Committee has created a working educational campaign to target audiences in the Loyola community of best practices to reduce waste, reuse, and recycle. Educational activities include exhibiting at campus sponsored events, departmental competitions, student group competitions, dorm competitions and collection/donation drives. The opportunities to organize fun and eductional activities are plentiful.
Have Great Ideas You Want to Share?
Many of us have work practices that save resources. Share those practices with colleagues and the greater Loyola community. Tell your coworkers about practices that reduce waste, recycle, and consumes less energy. If applicable, the Committee will post to this website and share with others during varous Univeristy outreach activities.
