Registering as a Move-In Volunteer

PLEASE NOTE: MOVE-IN VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2009 MOVE-IN HAS BEEN CLOSED.
Step 1: Create an account
To begin, navigate to the Department of Residence Life's Online Registration System. Click the link to Create an Account on the left navigation panel.
Step 2: Fill out the volunteer form
After logging in, you will notice that your options on the left navigation panel have changed. You will now be able to fill out a Move-In Volunteer registration Form.
After completing the form, you will be prompted to log out and log back in, this step is necessary to update your status as a Move-In Volunteer in our database.
Step 3: Select a move-in time
After logging out and logging back in, you will again see your options have changed. You can now select a move-in time and select your two volunteer shifts. To select a move-in time, click the appropriate link. You will be directed to a page with a list of available move-in times. To select a move-in slot, simply click the desired time. Space is limited, time slots that are full will appear grayed out. If at any time you wish to change your move-in time, you may return to this page and click another time to select it.
Step 4: Select two volunteer shifts
Once you have registered, you will also be able to select two volunteer shifts. To select a volunteer shift, click the appropriate link. You will be directed to a page with a list of volunteer shifts. To select a shift, simply click on the desired shift. You will need to repeat this step a second time for your second shift. Please ensure that you do not select overlapping time shifts. Space is limited, time slots that are full will appear grayed out. If at any time you wish to change your volunteer shifts, you may return to this page and click another time to select it.
Step 5: Finalize your registration
Once you have selected a move-in time and two volunteer shifts, you can click "finalize registration" on the left navigation panel. This is the final step to becoming a move in volunteer and tells us that you will be moving in early and volunteering for 8 hours during move-in. Only those who complete this step will receive important informational emails and be allowed to move-in early.
