Mail Services
General Information
The Loyola Mailroom is located on the first floor of the Granada Center, 6431 North Sheridan Road. The Mailroom will provide letter and package service for all resident Loyola Students. The Mailroom features mailboxes with combination locks. Please retrieve your combination in person (mailroom) and refer to theCombination Instructions located above each bank of mailboxes. For security reasons, combination requests over the phone will not be provided.

Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm: Access to mailboxes and package pickup
Monday - Friday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Access to mailboxes only
Saturday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Access to mailboxes only
The Mailroom is closed on Sundays
Postage
The mailroom provides outgoing mail/packages services to resident students, faculty and staff. USPS postage is sold in the mailroom. Only Rambler Bucks are accepted. A new Rambler Bucks loading station has been installed in the LSC mailroom.
Mail Service During University Holidays and Break Periods
Mail and packages are received by the mailroom throughout the school year for resident students only, and kept secured until the student returns to Campus from holidays. If the student moves out, mail/packages will be returned to sender.
Incoming USPS Mail
The mailroom staff picks up mail from the USPS each morning. It is then sorted and placed in the student's mailbox the same day. Unidentified mail will be researched on a daily basis utilizing the database provided by the Department of Residence Life. Please remember that the actual time you receive your mail may vary depending upon the time mail is available for pick-up by Loyola from the USPS and the volume of mail received on a given day.
Note: It is strongly recommneded that family, friends and relatives DO NOT send cash through the United States Postal System.

Outgoing USPS Mail
All outgoing USPS mail can be delivered to the University mailroom. All outgoing mail is picked up by the USPS daily between 4:30 pm. and 5:00 pm. This mail must have proper postage affixed to it.
Official USPS drop off mailboxes are located on the corners of Loyola Avenue and Sheridan Road, as well as Withrop Avenue and Sheridan Road.
Loyola University is serviced by the Rogers Park Post Office at 1723 W Devon Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60626. They can be reached at 773-743-2650.
Mail Forwarding
Mail and packages that are not forwarded under the conditions listed above will be returned to sender.

Incoming letter mail and packages arriving by USPS, FedEx, UPS, Airborne, DHL and all other express services will be received by the Loyola mailroom. ALL MAIL must be addressed as follows to ensure accurate and timely delivery:

Students will receive package notification via an automatically generated email to their Loyola e-mail address. This occurs as the incoming package's barcode is being scanned by the mailroom staff.
Students arriving at the mailroom to pick up a package will be required to present their student I.D. and electronically sign for their package on a Palm Pilot Signature Pad.
In the event the recipient is not available, the package will be held in a secured mailroom area. All efforts will be made to contact the individual to request the he/she retrieves the package as soon as possible
WATER TOWER CAMPUS
General Information
The Loyola Mailroom is located at 837 N State Street. The mailroom will provide letter and package service for all students living in Baumhart hall. The Mailroom features mailboxes with combination locks. The boxes are located on the Fourth floor. Please refer to the Combination Instructions located above each bank of mailboxes.

In order to insure timely and accurate mail delivery, all resident students are required to complete a USPS on-line "Change of Address Request" if they permanently leave the University or return home for the summer, after the school year.
