Getting Around Chicago

By Campus Shuttle
Campus Transportation operates an intercampus shuttle between the Lake Shore Campus and Water Tower Campus.

By Public Transit
The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) operates train and bus systems that will take you almost anywhere in the city. Full-time students receive a CTA U-Pass, which provides unlimited train and bus fare during most academic terms.

By Bicycle
For students interested in biking around campus and in Chicago, there is plenty of bicycle parking available on campus.

Don't have your own bike? No problem. Divvy Bikes is a city-wide bicycle sharing program, which offers a discount membership for Loyola students.

You can also rent a bicycle on campus through ChainLinks, Loyola's student run one-stop bicycle shop. ChainLinks also offers bicycle repairs and service.

By Car
With so many convenient, cost effective, and efficient transportation options, most students find that they do not need a car on campus. Students who wish to park on campus, may purchase a permit through Campus Transportation. Parking on campus is limited and is not available at all halls.
