Chicago & Community Resources
Loyola University Chicago's Lakeshore Campus is located in the heart of Roger's Park, on the northside of Chicago, but with institutes and centers in Maywood and Vernon Hills, academic buildings and residence halls down in the Gold coast, getting from place to place at Loyola University Chicago requires a little assistance. Fortunately, there are plenty ways to get around the Chicagoland area.
Getting Around Chicago
University Transportation services run an intercampus shuttle between the Lakeshore and Water Tower Campus.
The CTA (Chicago Transportation Authority) runs the subway, train and bus systems that will get you where you need to go. The CTA U-Pass is your ticket to unlimited riding aboard CTA buses and trains. It offers all full time undergraduates and graduate students enrolled in participating programs unlimited use and an unparalleled opportunity to take advantage of everything Chicago has to offer. No cash is needed. It's your connection to shopping, sports events, social activities, art and entertainment centers, and anything else that grabs your attention
There are several Hospitals located near both the Lakeshore and Water Tower campuses.
