Applying for Housing
Application for summer student housing requires the completion and submission of the Summer 2008 Housing Application and Contract (PDF). A $50 housing prepayment must accompany the housing contract. The prepayment is non-refundable after submission.
Assignments are made when space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The availability of housing is not guaranteed for late applicants. For this reason, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible, preferably before April 15, 2008.
When submitting the contract and $50 prepayment, please make checks payable to "Loyola University Chicago." The completed housing contract and prepayment should be mailed to:

The contract may be delivered in person to the Department of Residence Life Office in Simpson Hall, Room 107.

Room Assignments
- All Summer Session students living on campus will be housed in Fordham Hall.
- Single-room and double-room occupancy will be offered in one-bedroom apartments.
Meal Plans
Early Summer Session: Students will not be required to maintain a meal plan. Point-of-sale food service will be available in dining locations and convenience stores.
Summer Sessions A & B: Students will have a $400 declining balance plan per session.
Summer Session C: Students will have a $600 declining balance plan.
Declining Balance Meal Plans:- May be used in all dining hall locations and convenience stores.
- Roll over from session to session and into Fall Semester 2008.
