How to Submit a Work Request with TMA Talk
To submit a work request to the Facilities Department, please use their online work order system at: http://tma.it.luc.edu.
If you are using a computer on the university network, you can navigate to the system from the Start menu by following these directions:
- Click Start on your desktop.
- Choose Loyola Software.
- Choose Administrative Applications.
- Click Facilities Work Request.
You will see the iService Desk page which will take you automatically to the Work Order home page. Read the description and instructions in the text box on the right side of the page.
Submit work requests and check on the status of work requests and work orders with the menus on the left side of the page. Click on the action you wish to perform and enter the information in the following screens, using the pull-down lists where appropriate.
When you submit a request, it will be assigned a reference number which can be used to check the status of the request. When a work request is assigned to a particular worker or group, it will become a work order, and it will be assigned a work order number.
If you include your e-mail address with your work request, you will automatically receive an e-mail telling you when the request has been assigned a work order number. You will also receive e-mails notifying you of any change to the status of the work order. All communications about the request should refer to the work order number.
