Orvieto Study Trip
Students of the John Felice Rome Center had the opportunity to participate in a two-day cooking excursion to the Umbrian town of Orvieto, located about 1 hour outside of Rome. The group of about 16 was greeted by Chef Lorenzo Polegri upon arrival in Orvieto, and remained with him throughout the duration of the trip. Chef Lorenzo was recently named the official Orvietan ambassador for food to the U.S.A. He is the head chef and owner of Ristorante Zeppelin in Orvieto and continuously hosts guests of eager groups wanting to learn how to cook and to get various tastes of Umbrian cuisine.
