“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

Rome is a central hub with easy access to Italy, all of Europe, North Africa and the Near Middle East.  JFRC students can take advantage of this convenient location with extended travel for a fully immersive study-abroad experience.‌

‌Getting to the Rome Center

Travel Book Recommendations

Tip: Buy books beforehand and read them! Get familiar with where you are studying abroad and make sure to bring a map. The Loyola OIP Lounge in the Sullivan Center (room 216) has a number of excellent travel books that you many browse through prior to going abroad.  Visiting students should also check with their study abroad office for travel resources.
