Books are available at the Loyola University Bookstore - Lakeshore Campus or online at www.luc-lsc.bkstr.com.
All courses offered at the JFRC during any of its summer sessions carry three semester hours of credit unless specified otherwise.
Inter-session
Between the first and second summer sessions, the JFRC offers students who enroll either in Session I or in Session II an optional ten-day course / study trip: an exploration of the artistic heritage of classical Greece. This combination class/study trip will begin Friday, June 21st, and return to the JFRC on Sunday, June 30th.
Procedure: Students may enroll in CLST 206 during open registration for summer sessions. The deadline to drop the course without incurring a cancellation fee is Friday, March 29. Students may not drop the course themselves in LOCUS; they must write to Carla Mollica, Academic Services Advisor of the JFRC, at cmollic@luc.edu to request that she process their withdrawal from the course.
Students who drop the course after March 29 will incur a $250 cancellation fee, charged against their account by the Bursar.
Because of the need to confirm commitments with hotels and tour companies, payment for the corresponding trip costs of that course is required before May 1. If a course is cancelled, any monies paid by a student will be refunded. If a course meets its enrollment but a student still chooses to drop it after Wednesday, May 1, then he or she will be billed for the trip in its entirety (€1,100 or $1,600), though no tuition will be charged.
CLST 206 Art of Ancient Greece
Costs: Tuition ($2,025) + €1,100 estimated for ten days' lodging, meals, and travel while in Greece (airfare to/from Athens is not included), Tuition and costs for the trip will be billed on a student's LOCUS account.
