The Rome Center offers educational travel excursions each semester over the winter holiday and during Fall and Spring breaks, as well as short day trips in Italy on selected weekends. Each excursion is accompanied by a faculty or staff member. The itineraries are prepared with both academic and cultural interests in mind, and strive to be affordable for Rome Center students. Students may register and pay for excursions in the Business Office at the Rome Center.
Students should keep in mind that space on each excursion is limited. It may not be possible to participate in all desired trips.

Study Trip Waiver
All Rome Center students will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to traveling on any Rome Center study trip. The waiver indicates that students understand the risks of traveling abroad and that situations can change on a daily basis. It is the student's responsibility to become familiar with any travel-related warnings, health and safety information located on the U.S. State Department Website at: www.travel.state.gov.
By signing the study trip waiver, a Rome Center student holds harmless the Loyola University Chicago John Felice Rome Center and Loyola University Chicago and its Board of Trustees from any and all claims and causes of action for damage to, or loss of, property, personal illness, injury or death arising out of travel conducted while enrolled at the Rome Center.
Financial Assistance
Rome Center alumni have generously contributed the Forza Roma Fund for students in need of financial assistance to participate in group travel opportunities. Students in need of financial assistance may be invited by the Rome Center Director and Dean to apply for Forza Roma funds. Students interested in applying for financial assistance should contact Todd Waller, Associate Dean of Students, at: twaller@luc.edu.
Registration
All study trip prices and schedules are subject to change. Each of the scheduled study trips requires a minimum number of participants. Students may register and pay for the study trips in the Business Office after arriving to the Rome Center. Students can pay by cash or credit card. Information will be posted when a study trip has reached is maximum number of registrants. In the event that too few Rome Center students register for a study trip, it will be cancelled and your deposit will be returned. In all other cases, deposits are non-refundable. The Rome Center Chicago Office does not accept deposits for the study trips.
