Shareholder Advocacy Committee

SRI Survey

We are pleased to report that over 800 Loyolans responded to our Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) Survey!  We are obliged to everyone who participated and who took the time to help us to compile this needed information.  Your input is greatly appreciated, as it will help guide our focus and initiatives on SRI issues that pertain to the University's investments for the upcoming year.

The top five major categories (with subcategories) considered very important to respondents can be broadly summarized as follows:

Corporate Governance

Environmen

Labor-Related

Health Care (Access) 69.71%

Violence

The results of the SRI Survey were shared at the Shareholder Advocacy Committee’s first Community Meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2008At this Community Meeting, the Committee invited members of Loyola community to share the results of the SAC's SRI Survey, to discuss their views on the issues presented, and to learn more about the newly formed Shareholder Advocacy Committee.  While sparsely attended due to multiple events on Campus, we received positive response and interest.

Thank you again,

The Shareholder Advocacy Committee
