On 9 November 2007 at about 10:00 PM, two of our female students were about to enter their apartment building located  on west Albion when they were approached by (2) male African American youths.  The students related that they saw a handgun on each of the offenders. One of the youths grabbed a purse from the student and fled running west on Albion. A search of the area by CPD and Campus Police Was negative. A follow-up will be conducted by Campus Safety and Area # 3 Violent Crimes, CPD.

 

The clothing description is as follows: # 1 wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. # 2 wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, also with the hood up.

 

The 024th District has been contacted to request increased patrols in the area.
