Below is a list of instructor led training for the Sakai system.  There are four types of instructor led courses to choose from with varying offerings:

• "An Introduction to Sakai" - Online - 90 minutes
• "An Introduction to Sakai" - Face-to-Face - 90 minutes
• "Advanced Sakai Topics" - Face-to-Face- 2 hours
• "A Comprehensive Introduction to Sakai Part I" - Face-to-Face - 3 hours
• "A Comprehensive Introduction to Sakai, Part II" - Face-to-Face - 3 hours

There are no fees or pre-requisites to take any of these courses, but registration is required and it is assumed that participants have pre-requisite knowledge of the Sakai system prior to taking the "Advanced Sakai Topics" or Part II of the "Comprehensive Introduction to Sakai courses.  Below is a list of the course schedule:

These courses are instructor led and are face-to-face sessions.  They are comprehensive 3 hour sessions, which go much deeper than the online "introduction" courses.

Advanced Topics (2 Hours)

"Advanced Sakai Topics"

These face-to-face workshops provide an "in-depth" look at some specific tools within the Sakai system, and are designed to allow faculty to have a hands-on and guided experience working through the exercises while at a computer workstation. Participants may request to join a workshop online by emailing itrs@luc.edu, but may find it difficult to observe and actively participate in the workshop activities.
