Announcing a New major in Management
The Department of Management is pleased to announce a new, redefined major that is structured to prepare students for a career in leadership and administration. The new Management (MGMT) major will offer students both theoretical and practical insights in how to best manage and lead in the workplace. The new major will focus on course offerings in areas such as International Management, Organizational Leadership and Change, and Values-Based Leadership. This 15 credit hour major will expose students to areas of leadership development, change management, and the ethical responsibilities involved in leading and directing individuals and organizations.
For students that are already registered under the old Management major (HR MGT) and who will not be graduating by May or August, of this year, please contact the Undergraduate School of Business office in Maguire Hall 220, or call 312-915-6113. For those who are interested, there is also a modified and improved Management minor available.
