Dean's Welcome
On behalf of Loyola University Chicago's School of Business Administration (SBA) and its Graduate School of Business (GSB), I am pleased to welcome current and future students, alumni, donors, as well as our many friends and partners throughout the Chicago area and beyond.
My vision for the school embraces Loyola's Jesuit tradition and reflects a commitment to educating the whole person and pursuing excellence in business education. It promotes a collaborative and diverse environment and an educational philosophy which emphasizes socially responsible decision-making and leadership, integrated curricula, global and cultural perspectives and experiential learning.
Loyola's SBA and GSB are distinctive because of the many important advantages we offer, including:
- Our M.B.A. program is ranked among the top 20 part-time M.B.A. programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
- Both the SBA and GSB and our accounting programs have long been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
- Our undergraduate and graduate students actively participate in Loyola's study abroad programs in Beijing, China and Rome, Italy.
- We house recognized research centers in several areas of study, notably the Loyola Family Business Center, the Center for Financial and Policy Studies and the Center for Risk Management and Corporate Governance.
- We offer full-time and part-time programs of study in the Graduate School of Business and a range of specializations to meet the needs of both traditional and working students. This year, we have launched two new M.B.A. programs in healthcare management and strategic financial services. We also offer M.B.A. concentrations in risk management and sport management.
- We are represented by an impressive network of accomplished business alumni whose involvement in the school provides our current students with internships, career opportunities and valuable support throughout their professional lives.
I encourage you to explore our Website and to contact us to learn more about the School of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Business. I am confident that the programs and resources you find here will meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
