B.B.A./M.B.A. Program

Current Loyola Undergraduate Students

Loyola B.B.A. students interested in entering directly to the M.B.A. should complete the following steps:

Loyola Senior Year, Fall Semester
  • Apply directly to the M.B.A. degree program. Loyola B.B.A. students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 with at least 64 credit hours at Loyola don't need to take the GMAT. Other Loyola B.B.A. students are also eligible for the five-year program, but they must take the GMAT as part of their application to the program; normal admission criteria will apply.
  • Upon admission to the M.B.A. program, register with the Business Career Center and meet with the Internship Coordinator to begin the process of finding an internship.
Loyola Senior Year, Spring Semester
  • Take the following two M.B.A. classes, which count toward both the undergraduate major and the M.B.A.:
    • One graduate elective in the field of the undergraduate major
    • One core M.B.A. course
  • Complete all other requirements for the B.B.A.
  • Obtain a summer internship and register for three hours of graduate internship credit in the M.B.A. summer quarter immediately following the senior year.

Summer After Loyola Senior Year
Enroll in M.B.A. classes and work in supervised internship.

Loyola Fifth Year
Complete M.B.A. requirements, taking courses each quarter.

Prospective Loyola Undergraduate Students

The School of Business Administration offers outstanding undergraduates the option of completing the bachelor's degree and then the master's degree in five years.

Prospective students interested in graduating with the B.B.A./M.B.A. degree should first apply to the B.B.A. program through the Office of Undergraduate Admission, indicating your interest in business administration on their application. Qualifying students then typically apply for the M.B.A. degree program in the Fall Semester of their senior year at Loyola.
