Current Loyola undergraduate students
Loyola BBA students interested in entering directly to the MBA should complete the following steps:
Loyola junior or senior year
- Register with Career Management Services and meet with a career advisor to begin the process of finding an internship.
- Secure internship and enroll in BSAD 351: Business Internship: Core Civic Engagment or UNIV 390: Internship Seminar: Organizational Change and Community Leadership.
Loyola senior year, first semester
- Apply directly to the MBA degree program. Loyola BBA students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 with at least 64 credit hours at Loyola do not need to take the GMAT. Loyola senior year, second semester
- Take two MBA classes, which may count toward both the undergraduate major and the MBA (students should consult with the Graduate School of Business before registering). These courses commonly include:
- One graduate elective in the field of the undergraduate major
- One core MBA course
- Complete all other requirements for the BBA.
Summer after Loyola senior year
Enroll in MBA classes.
Loyola fifth year
Complete MBA requirements, taking courses each quarter.
Prospective Loyola undergraduate students
The School of Business Administration offers outstanding undergraduates the option of completing the bachelor's degree and then the master's degree in five years.
Prospective students interested in graduating with the BBA/MBA degree should first apply to the BBA program through the Office of Undergraduate Admission, indicating your interest in business administration on their application. Qualifying students then typically apply for the MBA degree program in the first semester of their senior year at Loyola.
