SBA Honors Program

SBA Honors Program Overview

"We are a community of scholars in a Jesuit Catholic University committed to preparing business leaders with the highest capacity and commitment to contribute to society through ethical and socially responsible conduct, sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, and the knowledge to act effectively in complex organizational settings and a diverse global economy."

SBA Mission Statement

The School of Business Administration Honors Program is a transformational experience designed to provide highly qualified, motivated SBA students, who care about making the world a better place, an opportunity to deepen their mastery of business and learn from each other in a stimulating environment. Within the business honors courses, there is an emphasis on cross-functional integration of business knowledge, global business perspectives, and issues related to social justice and ethics. Each year, the faculty teaching honors sections meet to select a group of focus companies that run as a common thread through all the honors sections. These companies represent examples of large, small, public and private businesses. An honors student will have the opportunity to analyze these same companies from the viewpoint of each discipline. Through this practice, the student will develop a comprehensive understanding of how each discipline is used in and affects an organization.
