Internship Program
Business Internships: Employer Overview
Employers are encouraged to implement an internship program as an effective means to train, observe and prepare future talent for an organization as well as provide a significant learning opportunity for professionals in training. The Career Management Services office is prepared to help employers hire interns.
At Loyola's School of Business Administration (SBA), internship opportunities are welcome whether they are:
- Paid or unpaid;
- For academic credit or not
- For the Fall, Spring or Summer terms
- In the city or the suburbs of Chicago
Loyola's SBA also offers and Academic Internship Program (AIP). AIP is a comprehensive program which provides:
- Student readiness training via coursework, workshops and advising;
- Academic credit to students who complete an approved internship;
- A streamlined process for students to receive Academic Credit for an internship that does NOT require cumbersome paperwork and documentation for employers. Credit and related documentation is processed by the University. The employer has no responsibility in the academic credit process.
If you are interested in posting a position that qualifies for academic credit, contact the Academic Internship Coordinator, Kathryn Jackson at 312-915-7812.
