B.A. in Management with a Certificate in Paralegal Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Management with a Certificate in Paralegal Studies comprises 126 credit hours. Each course carries three hours of credit; each paralegal course carries two hours of credit. The degree requirements are as follows:

Paralegal Studies - 24 hours

Students also have the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Paralegal Studies as a part of degree completion. The following guidelines must be met before paralegal certificate courses are taken:
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a minimum of 12 Loyola hours completed
  • Within 44 hours of degree completion
  • A minimum of two completed courses total from the following:
    - Any Literary Knowledge and Experience course
    - ENGL 310 Business and Professional Writing
  • At least three ODL-titled courses completed
  • An interview with the director of the Institute for Paralegal Studies
