Scholarship Opportunities for Female SCPS Students
To apply for any SCPS scholarship (except the George and Bernice Cooke Scholarship Foundation for Women), complete the SCPS Scholarship Application (PDF), including the required essay.
To apply for multiple scholarships, submit only one application and essay. Your application will be considered for all available opportunities for the given semester.
Magdalene Herzog Scholarship
In honor of her devotion to female students, the Magdalene Herzog Scholarship was established assist women returning to school as adults. Female students working towards a first bachelor's degree in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies are eligible to apply.
Application Requirements:
- A 2.5 or above cumulative Loyola GPA. New Loyola students should have a 2.5 or above cumulative high-school GPA.
- Applicant must be a newly admitted or current female SCPS student.
- A completed SCPS Scholarship Application (available soon) and a one- to two-page essay.
- A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file at the time of application. For more information and to complete the FAFSA online, click here.
Alyce Salerno Scholarship
The Alyce Salerno scholarship provides tuition assistance to women furthering their careers through education.
Application Requirements:
- A 2.5 or above cumulative Loyola GPA.
- Applicant must be a current SCPS female student in the first 30 hours of her degree program (newly admitted students are not eligible).
- A completed SCPS Scholarship Application (available soon) and a one- to two-page essay.
