What are Sophomore Suppers?
Not sure the major/career path you are on is the right one? Wanting to explore opportunities to study abroad? Thinking about pursuing an internship or undergraduate research? Do you enjoy a great (free) meal and meaningful conversation?
Sophomore Suppers offer students the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and other students to discuss these and other questions. We all question our path at some point in our life, but we do not always know where to find support or conversation partners in this process of exploration. These dinners offer you the chance to ask questions and hear stories from faculty, staff, and other students who have had similar questions and/or who have relevant experiences and advice to share. This is a great opportunity to meet new people from around the university and to reflect on your time here at Loyola and what you are being called to do. Please join us for one or more of our Sophomore Suppers in spring semester. A schedule will be available soon.
This event is free and provides dinner and mocktails for all students.

The schedule for the 2014 - 2015 academic year will include at least seven suppers throughout the year. Topics include the following (and more): studying abroad, internships and career planning, applying for graduate school, opportunities for students interested in pre-health, vocational discernment.
