February 15, 2007 Meeting Minutes
Members present: Linda Paskiewicz, Janice Rasheed, Susan Fee, Alanah Fitch, Kari Hamende, Matthew Willms, Matthew Brooks, Jack Wall, John Pelissero, Donna Halinski
Members absent: Patti Jung, John Makowski, Isiaah Crawford
An organizational meeting of the the AAUPC members was conducted by John; no proposals or old business were discussed. The purpose of this meeting was to elect a new chairperson and to review AAUPC'S purpose, charge and member responsibilitiies.
Janice Rasheed was unanimously elected Chair of this committee. Dean Crawford has a large number of faculty searches going on in the College and requeste to be relieved of this responsibililty. [Please note that the Chair recently recieved a memo informing that Dean Samuel Attoh has graciously accepted this role.]
The meeting was adjourned after numerous questions were asked and answered regarding the general role, responsibility and purview of this Committee.
