Academic Standing
This policy is a SOC program-specific set of guidelines that are meant to supplement the LUC Graduate School policies on Academic Standing (http://www.luc.edu/gradschool/academics_policies.shtml#academic_standing).
A degree-seeking student in the School of Communication Digital Media and Storytelling MC Program will:
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B) for all classes taken for graduate credit;
- Maintain a 3.0 in all DMS MC core classes. A student who earns a grade below 3.0 in any DMS MC core class is subject to review, probation, or dismissal from the program; and
- Adhere to the SOC policy on Academic Integrity. Students found to violate SOC's policy on Academic Integrity are subject to review, probation, or dismissal from the program.
