In 2006 she joined the staff of the College of Arts & Sciences as office assistant for Budget Management.

She is currently a member of Young Professionals of Chicago and enjoys spending her free time playing in a volleyball league, running and snowboarding.
Recently she’s discovered a deep passion for traveling and believes that: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~Mark Twain
