Master of Communication: Digital Storytelling

SOC Night Image

Digital media has revolutionized the way we communicate. Stories are being told through a variety of mediums—online newspapers, blogs, interactive websites, e-museums, at virtual meetings, and public events. Communications professionals must be able to investigate, write, design, produce, present, and distribute informative and influential stories in keeping with the latest trends in technology and audience preferences.

The Master's in Digital Media and Storytelling degree at Loyola is designed for post-baccalaureate students whose intentions are to enter professional markets with current and relevant skills putting stories into compelling narrative form through new and digital means. Our program gives you the opportunity to develop technical expertise while exploring different communications streams such as journalism, advertising, public relations, and documentary filmmaking. Courses take place at Loyola's Water Tower Campus in Chicago, a world-class city that is recognized as a leading communications and business district.
