Academics
The School of Social Work (SSW) offers a variety of programs for undergraduates, graduates and working professionals.
Both the B.S.W. and M.S.W. programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
The master's degree prepares students for clinical social work practice with individuals, families and small groups. The program's advanced practice domain of Leadership and Development in the Social Services fosters skills in non-profit management, organizational development, and philanthropy.
SSW also offers five distinctive dual-degree programs, pairing the M.S.W. with graduate degrees in child development, child and family law, divinity, law, and women's studies. Candidates for dual-degree programs submit an application to the School of Social Work and another to the partner program or institution with whom the degree is offered.
