Advanced Family Track
Students who would like to pursue a track within the Child and Family specialization can take additional courses from the Advanced Family Treatment Track.
This track is ideal for students interested in family therapy, marital counseling, divorce mediation, and working with blended families.
These students will be required to take the following courses:
- SOWK 613 (Advance Family Therapy)
- SOWK 611 (Treatment of Couples)
- SOWK 611 and SOWK 613 are only offered in the Spring terms.
- SOWK 612 (Family Diagnosis and Treatment) is a prerequesite to the above courses and can be taken in the Summer or Fall terms.
