1st Level MSW Application Deadlines

Fall Semester

• January 1
• If you are newly admitted Full Time (FT) student anticipating to start your internship your first Fall semester of the program, please apply immediately. Placement opportunities for Fall 1st level students are limited in July and August. Any application received after July 1 will be considered for Fall on a case-by-case basis based on internship availability.
• Students must live in the Chicagoland area in order to begin the internship placement process and to conduct in-person interviews with agencies.

Spring Semester 

• October 1
• If you are a newly admitted FT student anticipating to start your internship your first Spring semester of the program, please apply immediately.
• Many Spring applicants are deferred to begin internship placement until the following Summer or Fall semester due to the availability of internships.

Summer Block

• January 1

2nd Level MSW Application Deadlines

Post Master Type 73 Certificate

Fall Semester

• Students generally find their own externship in an Illinois public school; however, referral assistance may be obtained from the 2nd Level Internship Coordinator Joanne Flom.
• Please contact Joanne Flom, jflom@luc.edu  to confirm your internship placement or for assistance with referrals.

CADC-E Certificate Internship

• Apply after admission to CADC Certificate program
• Please review information about the CADC program and application process and program.
