New Student Assembly Days

Welcome to Loyola University's MSW Program. All new students beginning MSW classes in the Fall semester are required to attend two-day New Student Assembly meetings the first week of class.  Lunch will be provided on both days. Please note there is no need to RSVP as everyone is expected to attend.

The agenda on Assembly Day #1 includes: an opportunity to meet the Faculty and the new Dean of the School of Social Work, Dr. Darrell Wheeler, learn about safety in field work placements through an interactive presentation and an introduction to field work seminar.

The agenda on Assembly Day #2 includes: a panel discussion with field instructors, alumni, liaisons and social workers in the field, a training on social work ethics, a networking event with a variety of University organizations and an introduction to field work seminar.
