Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition for graduate courses in the School of Social Work is $978 per credit hour.
The MSW program automatically considers all admitted students for merit-based scholarships if available at the time of application. Scholarship review begins after our priority scholarship deadline. Waves of awards go out starting a month after the priority deadline until all funding has been exhausted. Approximately 5-10% of admitted students are awarded a scholarship and the average award totals $3,000/semester for two semesters.

The School of Social Work also offers graduate assistantship positions, generally posted mid-March. All admitted students are notified once these are posted and open for applications. These positions offer financial aid as well and involve working with faculty or staff here at our school.
Another financial aid option is to look into external sources of funding, as there is funding available specifically for those going into the social work field. A list of external funding sources to start your search is available in the box to the right.
