MICHELE S. DUSZYNSKI, LCSW

Michele S. Duszynski is a licensed clinical social worker with a masters degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago, and undergraduate degrees in psychology and marketing.

She has worked in the social service field for over a decade. During that time, Michele has worked in inner-city psychiatric hospitals, child welfare agencies & not for profit organizations.

In her private practice , Michele works with adults and adolescents to address a wide range of issues including Depression, Bi-polar disorder, Anxiety, Trauma, Loss, Self-Esteem, Physical disabilities and Substance abuse.

Outside of private practice, Michele works extensively with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She is also a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she provides brief psycho-social counseling to patients diagnosed with neuromuscular disorders. Additionally, she facilitates several monthly MDA support and networking groups throughout the Chicagoland area.

Michele is active in the field of social work as a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Illinois Society of Clinical Social Workers. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Warming House, a youth drop-in center in Wilmette; serves on the Loyola School of Social Work Alumni Board; and an alumni mentor for Lake Forest College.
