This 3-day Summer Institute will combine a dynamic mixture of lecture, small-group learning, and panel discussions to help you become the best practitioner possible.
Whether you attend one day or all three, we’ll leave you with great ideas, practical tools to use, and a renewed sense of purpose for your work in schools. This year’s event will have a similar format each day with:
•Evidence-based practice presentations by Dr. Michael S. Kelly, Loyola Associate Professor, FSPP Director, and author of over 40 books and articles on school mental health practice
•Practice wisdom from FSPP faculty who have decades of school mental health experience
•Hands-on demonstration of effective practices from innovative school mental health practitioners working in schools right now

and other providers of care to older adults and their families.
August 5-9th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Ø Session I:August 5th through 7th (AM session) ~ "Basic Mediation"
Basic Mediation Skills Training to provide professionals with the basic techniques needed to resolve conflicts and disputes through a non-adversarial method
Ø Session II: August 7th (AM session) through 9th ~ "Elder mediation"
Elder Mediation Skills Training for professionals helping families resolve the challenging issues that arise in later life.
