Submission Guidelines
The editorial board welcomes manuscripts from School of Social Work students that provide insight into clinical, policy and research issues in the field of social work. Journal submissions can be class papers, research projects, fieldwork experiences or personal reflections about being a social work student. Submissions can also include research on or reflections about experiences with a particular program, practice area, population, model or theory. Letters to the editor are also encouraged.
Praxis is published annually in September, and manuscripts are accepted throughout the year. The early submission deadline for the Fall 2011 issue January 29; the second submission deadline is May 14. Authors who submit their papers by the early deadline will have the opportunity to get feedback and have enough time to revise and resubmit before the final deadline. The review process is anonymous.
Formatting
• Provide your submission as a Microsoft Word document file (.doc)
• Double-spaced
• 12-point font
• One-inch margins
• No longer than 20 pages
• Omit name(s) of author(s) from the manuscript
• Name and contact information for the author(s) should only be on the title page

E-mail your manuscript to Dr. Rasheed, faculty liaison, at jrashee@luc.edu. Clearly mark that it is a PRAXIS submission in the subject heading.
