Carol HayseWorkshop Description: Has a child shared a favorite song or picture with you? Have you drawn, played games, danced, shot hoops with a student? Perhaps you are aware that the use of expressive therapies like these is indicated for children who have experienced traumatic stress, often called complex trauma. Complex trauma results from maltreatment, viewing family violence, living in violent communities, living in chaotic families, and so on. If you’d like to deepen your knowledge of the neurophysiology of complex trauma, children’s symptoms, and treatments, please attend. We will learn and share treatment interventions you have devised, and create more. Four facilitators will support you to re-new and re-energize. Please participate with us!
