CPS Union Book - 3 Micah Uetricht (2009), wrote a book about the 2012 Chicago Teachers’ Strike, Strike for America: Chicago Teachers Against Austerity. Micah is also web editor for In These Times as well as con-tributing editor for Jacobin Magazine.
Farah's book Farha Ternikar (PhD-2005) has written a book entitled Brunch: A History. In the book Farha looks as brunch as a cultural experi-ence as well as a meal. Dr. Ternikar is an Associate Professor of Sociology at LeMoyne Univeristy in upstate New York.
Chris Helt-3 Christopher Helt (1990) has been awarded the 2013 Chicago FBI Director's Community Leadership Award. The Chicago FBI DCLA  Award is the highest civilian, community service award given to individuals or groups that exemplify service to the community and the FBI mission. Mr. Helt graduated cum laude from Loyola University and went on to earn his law degree from Loyola's Law School. He is currently an immigration attorney. He was presented with the award at a luncheon at the Corboy Law Center on January 10, 2014.
