Urban Semester Seminar

Students explore how cities work through texts, field trips, and guest speakers, and help find solutions to pressing urban issues. They fulfill civic engagement core value requirement. Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing.

Outcome:  Students will understand and address inequities in urban communities, and identify avenues of leadership and civic engagement in contemporary cities.
