Graduate Assistantships
The Division of Student Development offers a number of Graduate Assistantships on an annual basis. Each assistantship is designed to provide graduate students with professional opportunities to support the University's goals and activities, as well as to provide financial support (in the form of tuition and a stipend) for graduate students.
Graduate Assistantship positions typically run on a nine-month contract, and require graduate assistants to be enrolled full-time (9 graduate credit hours) as students. Graduate assistants typically work 20-30 hours per week, depending on the assistantship. Monthly stipends vary from one position to another. Also, a graduate assistant's tuition is waived up to 18 credit hours for the academic year.
