USAC classes are located at Massey University, one of New Zealand's leading educational institutions. A state funded university, with a proud 80-year tradition of academic excellence and a strong national and international reputation, Massey University is an important part of New Zealand's education system.
Campuses in Palmerston North, Wellington and Auckland at Albany, cater to some 19,000 local and international students. The five college structure provices a diversity of courses for you to choose from.
Massey University is a leader in the fields of sciences, design, social sciences, education and business - with the largest business college in the country. Staff are internationally renowned and leading edge research is being undertaken on all three campuses. It has a proud international record of using this expertise to work with developing countries, and its focus on technology and business is also meeting new international demands.

Palmerston North (Palmy) in the Manawatu region is a university town, not touristy, so you will get a true taste of Kiwi culture within a friendly, young and "laid back" atmosphere. As a university town there is a great selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants catering to the student pallet and wallet. Theater and live music performances are scheduled around town, and papular student pubs come to life during the year, providing great entertainment. There are many hidden treasures in this area including luxurious country retreats, award-winning gardens, uncrowded championship golf courses, special interest museums, galleries, historical homes, and a host of adventures for adrenaline junkies. Throughout the year this lively region hosts many major national and international events - sporting, cultural, trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.

Types of Accommodation
Massey University offers a range of quality housing and living options depending upon the campus of study including Halls of Residence (on-campus), university managed Flats or Apartments (off-campus) and Home Stay (off-campus) accommodation. The on-campus options available include meal plans and in some cases self catering is available.
An Accommodation Officer at each Massey campus will assist in the process to locate appopriate housing for you. If the Officer is not able to locate one of your preferences, they will try to give you a room of similar price. Your chances of getting the hall or flat you want will improve by applying for accommodation at least 3 months prior to the program start date.

2007 - $6,480 per semester, $12,960 for the full year
2008 - $6,880 per semester, $13,760 for the full year
