The City of Prague - Prague is a major cosmopolitan city of 1.15 million people. It is an open textbook of modern and traditional literature, art, architecture, and culture. Students will appreciate the beautiful architecture of the city its walls, castles, and frescoes. Prague has always been a multi-cultural city where people met, studied, and worked regardless of their origins and beliefs. The totalitarianism part of the 20th century was not favorable to this tradition, but now the Velvet Revolution has returned these inspirations to the Czech Republic. Moreover, the Czech Republic is in the process of developing closer ties with to the European Union, promising dynamic changes in current legislation. Services and infrastructure have been improving rapidly since 1989, and the quality of services has risen faster than prices. Today Prague is one of the best bargains in the world. Prague is situated in the middle of the Czech Republic, and in just a few hours you can be in Germany Austria, Slovakia, and Poland.

Types of Accommodation

• Kolej Komenskeho Residence Hall - Students live in double occupancy rooms in this residence hall that is only a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle. If you wish to have a room to yourself these is an additional charge of $5 per day. Each room shares a kitchenette, shower and bathroom with another double room. A buffest breakfast is served daily from 7am- 10am.
