Summer Scholars at Cuneo

Take a Guitar or Calculus course this summer!

For students who live in northern Cook and southern Lake County, we offer also courses at Loyola's convenient Cuneo Campus in Vernon Hills, IL. Choose from the following: 

Math 131 Applied Calculus I (June 30–August 1, $980)
9:30–11:30 a.m. MondayThursday
The five-week Calculus class is a great way to get ahead and earn college credit in a subject that is required for many majors. This class will be capped at 20 students, offering participants a high degree of instructor interaction. This is an exciting opportunity to earn college credit in a challenging academic environment. Guitar Camp–Intro to Guitar (August 11–15, $500)
9 a.m.–5 p.m. MondayFriday

New for Summer 2014, Summer Scholars will have an opportunity to expand their musical skill set and learn to play guitar. This non-credit, one-week program will cover guitar basics and will be taught by Steven Suvada, who has appeared as a soloist with more than 30 symphony orchestras.

Guitar Camp is open to junior high and high school students—complete the registration form to participate.

Note: These courses do not include the excursions and programmed social activities of the Summer Scholars programs offered at Loyola's Lake Shore Campus. Students will commute from home to the Cuneo Campus daily for class and leave campus after their classes end for the day.
