Water Conservation Actions

Water is life. And we rely on it everyday. Therefore it our responsibility to keep it clean and ensure access to meet societal and ecological needs. Using water wisely starts with each person on a day-to-day basis.

Lake Michigan provides you with drinking water, water to shower and anything else you can think of that provides water at your Loyola home-away-from-home. It is one of the largest sources of surface freshwater in the world! We are so fortunate to have such an amazing treasure at the doorsteps of the Loyola lakeside campuses. Help take care of Lake Michigan and other water resources.

Loyola's Botttled Water Ban Policy

Students campaigned, educated and shaped a campus-wide policy that prohibits the sale of bottled water on campus. The players, the history and reusable water bottle refill maps are available here.

Resuable water bottles are important to keep in your backpack and can be filled at any of the refill stations across campus.
