How to check what version of Java are you running

If you are using MacOS click HERE

1. Click the Start Button

2. On the Start Menu, click Control Panel

3. If you do not see the Java icon, click the Programs icon, then click the Java icon

4. Click the java icon.

5. In the java Control panel dialogue box, click the About button.

6. In the About Java dialogue box, the version of Java you are using will be listed.

If this box reads "Version 7" you have an affected version.

How to uninstall Java version 1.7 (Windows 7)

1. Click the Start Button

2. On the Start Menu, click Control Panel

3. Under Programs icon, click on uninstall a program
